Sea Moss Detox Juice

Sea moss has become immensely popular in the last few years, and the reason is the many health benefits that it offers. As simple as that! In the following lines, we are going to share how you can benefit from sea moss’s potential in a fun way i.e. by drinking a fund sea moss detox energy drink!

Ingredients

The first step is to prepare sea moss gel, which is a vital component of our detox juice. Please start by soaking dried sea moss in water until it expands and becomes super soft. The next step is to rinse it thoroughly for removing any debris. And then, lastly, blend it with water until it forms a gel-like consistency.

Cucumbers are to be added next up. Start by peeling and chopping a cucumber into chunks, and keep the sizes of cut pieces manageable for your blender.

Next, we are adding celery into our sea moss. Please wash and chop a few celery stalks into tiny pieces.

Citrus fruits can be a nice addition here, they can add flavor and provide a dose of vitamin C. A couple of lemons would be nice here!

Ginger is next up, it adds a zing to the juice while boosting digestive health at the same time. Just a small piece is good for this purpose.

Want something sweet? Add a green apple or some pineapple chunks. Flavor and nutrients at the same time!

How to Whip it Up!

In the first step, you will have to immerse a considerable amount of dried sea moss in water. Please soak it for 4-6 hours. Make sure that you are rinsing it thoroughly, any sand or debris will just spoil the taste.

In the next step, please soak sea moss with water to achieve a gel-like consistency. This should not take more than five minutes.

Squeeze the lemon juice, one lemon would be nice. Also, please peel a small piece of fresh ginger.

Peel and chop the celery into small pieces.

Peel and chop the cucumber into small pieces.

And now, it is time for magic! In a blender, add the sea moss gel, chopped cucumber, celery, lemon juice, and ginger slices.

Let us pour our sea moss detox juice into a glass.

You can add ice if you like.

Garnish with a lemon slice or a sprig of mint.
